The Seventh Annual Alumni Band Night will be held on Friday, October 26 in conjunction with the Hazleton Area High School Homecoming festivities. The Alumni Band will march in the homecoming parade, play in the stands during the football game, and play with the Hazleton Area Cougar Band during the half-time show. The Alumni Band will also play during the third quarter of the game while the Marching Cougars take their break. The Hazleton Area Band Boosters will be providing tickets towards purchase of food or drinks at the concession stand to all Alumni.
The Alumni Band is a great way for alumni to show their support of music in our schools and the Hazleton Area Cougar Band and Color Guard as well as meeting old friends and sharing memories of band experiences.
As in previous years, alumni are welcome to wear band jackets or their school’s colors. Music and color guard equipment will be provided. Majorettes are welcome to bring their batons. Alumni participating in the parade are to report to the Arthur St. School, 9th & Arthur St., Hazleton at 5:00 PM. Those alumni who are unable to participate in the parade should assemble at Harman Geist Stadium near the Wyoming St. end of the home bleachers at 6:30 PM.
